We light up the darkest night of the year, the Winter Solstice, with a beautiful half-mile, luminaria walk along our Judith Tunell sidewalk trail, featuring artwork from local youth, businesses and artists. Join us for our first annual festival featuring artisans, musicians, food trucks, and of course, hot cocoa. South Mountain Aglow is FREE for all ages!
Over 1,000 luminarias will make the trail glow, with many featuring artwork by local community members and visitors to South Mountain Environmental Education Center. Stop by the Center before the event to design your very own bag we’ll include along the trail.
